Why Sould they Pardon Paris?

I don't understand why Paris Hilton should be pardoned for driving drunk just for being famous. Why is she famous anyway? I strongly dislike the double standard there is with celebrities. They can mistreat their own children, adopt children as a "fad" a fashion trend. They can even molest children. And its all okay because they have money and are celebrities. I think it should be the opposite way if they are public figures they should always act with decor and misbehave they should be punished like the rest of us mortals
