I was reading the front page of Yahoo this morning and I saw that Micheal Moore is being investigated for taking ailing 9/11 survivors and or workers I don't remember for getting treatment in Cuba. Also for claims he makes in his new movie " Sicko" I remembered two things: that a friend of mine got better physical therapy in Cuba than here her parents are wealthy and paid for the trip. And that yesterday my mom had to go to a doctor in Tijuana Mexico because her American HMO wouldn't treat her for certain respiratory ailments she has. My mom had to pay from her pocket for the doctor visit and it was worth it because the Mexican doctor said that she had problems with her nasal cavities. Can you imagine her HMO doctor her American doctor still was waiting for approval to treat her and could not figure out the cause of my mom's ailments.
You know it just makes you think yes Micheal Moore is kinda hokey but is he that wrong? Our Medical system, our education system and our system that provides work for people with disabilities needs reform and bad. It is kinda "sicko"
